What is a chiropodist ?

Ki-róp-a-dist

A chiropodist is a primary health care professional that specializes in the treatment and prevention of diseases, disorders or dysfunctions relating to the foot and ankle.

Chiro: latin prefix meaning “the hand”

Pody: Greek derivative meaning in relations to the foot or feet

In simpler terms, it is fixing or treating the feet with your hands!

To become a chiropodist, you need to have an Advanced Diploma in Chiropody or equivalent (3-year program) and to practice in Ontario, you must have successfully passed the College of Chiropodist of Ontario’s board exams.

New Office Location

Dear valued patients,

Please be noted that we officially moved from unit 136 to unit 214, which is located in the second floor of the 3-story building right beside our old location. The main entrance door is facing Katimavik road, around the corner of Desjardins insurance and Pro Physio Clinic. Please take the elevator to the second floor then turn right. Unit 214 is at the end of the hallway. Please call us at 613-435-3020 if you have any questions on the direction. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the moving and hope you like the new office with more treatment rooms.
